Q: What is an RFID tag?
A: Radio Frequency Identification tags are small tracking chips
that are attached to products that you purchase.
Q: What does RFIDwasher do?
A: RFIDwasher finds RFID tags and “electronically washes”
it, thus protecting your privacy.
Q: Can I destroy the RFID tag myself?
A: Not very easily, the first problem is finding the chip –
they are very small indeed and often impossible to find, in addition
to this they are designed to withstand huge electrical currents
(e.g. static) and are almost indestructible. It is possible to destroy
the RFID tag by putting it in your microwave – however this
can be dangerous as the items may catch fire and will probably leave
a large burn mark on your new shirt.

A: Wrong, people wear products that contain RFID tags – hence
people can be tracked.

A: It disables the tag using patented prioprietary technology –

A: Yes the product complies with a large number of electrical safety

A: Yes, it is designed to destroy all tags that you will find on
everyday objects – these are known as passive tags. It is
not designed to destroy active tags which are used in the industrial
applications.

No, it does not give off any subsonic or ultrasonic sounds your

Some might, however it is in their interest to keep the tags active
and live – since they will be able to track you when you come
back into the store or return the goods etc. even if they do –
it is possible to reactivate the tag again - only RFIDwasher electronically
destroy the tag using its unique technology.
Q: Can someone use RFIDwasher on me or
the products I have bought?
No, we have designed it so that you have to be very close to the
tag for RFIDwasher to work – it is not designed to operate
over long distances.
